Agro Tech Liberia is interested in making agriculture a pragmatic career activities that can transform the economic status of Africa. Our students mentorship program is active and has the demonstration site for youth in agriculture incubation.

In 2018, Liberia Institute of Statistics and Geo-information Services(LISGIS) released a report that shows the poverty rate of 50.9% as well as 39.1% food poverty. The report also revealed household food shortage at 51.2%( urban 44%, rural 59%). The report also shows that the southeast is food insecure The data show that our food security is under threat and something must be done. What need to be done must include the participation of all Liberian. We must act as a country and people to keep the peace by having food accessible, affordable and efficient for our survivability.. Agro Tech Liberia host Agri Tech Talks

Information Communication Technology is transforming all sectors globally and agriculture sector is of no exception. As the global population is expected to increase by 3 billions people by 2050, there is a need to double food production. And technology(ICT) has the potential to increase productivity and marketing opportunities for agriculture and agribusiness activities. In our effort to promote agriculture and agribusiness activities in Liberia, we believe that the integration of Technology in agriculture will make the necessary impacts by making agriculture attractive and profitable for youth to invest. From this backdrop, we organize the Agri Tech Talks, a tech seminar intended to expose students and agribusiness individuals as well as farmers to available Information Technology platforms to enhance productivity and marketing.
